Recovering a Hacked Casino Account: What to Do

How do you know it was hacked?

Signs include logins you do not recognize, a changed phone number or password, balance changes you did not make, or messages about a withdrawal you did not request. Sometimes you are locked out entirely.

Do not assume it is a glitch. Treat any unexplained change as real until you have checked.

Another sign is a flurry of password reset emails or OTP messages you did not request. That means someone is trying to get in, even if they have not yet succeeded.

What should you do first?

Secure your own devices before anything else. Change your email password and your phone's lock. Check that no unknown apps or profiles were installed; see trusting an iOS profile. Then change the casino password, using one you do not use elsewhere.

If your SIM or number was taken over, call your mobile provider. Many casino accounts are protected only by an OTP sent to the phone.

How can you protect your money?

Do not send any "recovery fee" to anyone. People who offer to recover funds for a fee are almost always scammers.

How do you avoid it next time?

What records should you keep?

Screenshots of the account history, transaction IDs, dates and times, and every message with support. Write down a timeline while you remember it. These records support any report to the casino or your payment provider.
