KKBD App Update Guide: Reinstall and Cache

Is your KKBD app acting up? A stale version is a common cause. We did not confirm how KKBD delivers updates, so this page covers the general options: update from the source you installed from, clear the cache, or reinstall. Your account lives with KKBD, so a reinstall does not delete it.
How do you know the app needs an update?
Signs include a blank lobby, a sign-in loop, buttons that do nothing, and a message saying a new version is available. Before blaming the app, test the same account in your phone browser. If the browser works and the app does not, the app is the likely suspect.
Where should the update come from?
From the same place you installed: KKBD's own site, which you open by typing the address. When we checked on 7 November 2026, its menu offered iOS and Android buttons. Treat a pop-up or message that claims an urgent update with suspicion. See the app hub for fake-file warnings.
How do you clear the cache?
On Android, open Settings, Apps, the KKBD app, Storage, then Clear cache. Clear data only as a last step, because it signs you out. On iPhone a home-screen shortcut can be removed and added again from Safari; see the iPhone guide. After clearing, restart the phone and sign in via the login guide.
When should you reinstall?
If caching does not help, uninstall and install a fresh copy from KKBD's own site, following the install guide. Note your username first. Your balance and history sit with KKBD, not on the phone, so they remain.
What else slows an app down?
A full phone, a weak signal, battery saver mode or too many background apps. Close other apps, switch networks and check storage before you reinstall.
What should you do before you reinstall?
Write down your username and the phone number on the account, and make sure you know how to reset the password, because a reinstall may sign you out. Check that you have enough storage for a fresh copy, and connect to stable Wi-Fi.
Then uninstall, restart the phone, and install again only from the source you typed yourself. This avoids a half-updated copy that keeps crashing after the new one is placed on top of it. Patience with a slow update is better than installing a file from a stranger.
